I agree completely, particularly given the current interest in unfaired roadsters. It was dropped due to emission struggles but they've managed to make it work in the VStrom; a new SV would be great eh 🙂 Cheers for watching

It is a great all round bike for sure as you say Chris. I had heard about the TDM1000 but thought it was just an internet styling exercise as Yamaha have it covered with the Tracer, but you never know eh 🙂

They sure are a useable versatile bike :-)

@RRRRefuelRideRace will do! For the record, Thursday it goes in for Modena nano-titanium protection on the tank and wheels. No tank protector for me. M4 full exhaust sitting in the garage. Then install dyno tune, tune. Then wide handlebars, bar ends, Rizoma mirrors, Corbin saddle, fork brace, Ohlins fork cartridges, some form of rear shock, larger sprocket thinner chain, and then when I run these Dunlops Roadsmart 3s down, a set of 4's. I intend to have the best SV in Seattle. So far I'm the only one I've seen. Maybe the LED headlight too.

I know from first hand experience what is involved in coordinating groups with high expectation but little input Paul, so I'm not whinging, merely observing. I enjoy events such as this enormously; the better they are the more people will go, the longer they will stay and the more I can immerse myself in it 🙂 Cheers for watching

Fit and comfort are very much subjective, but you might find it a bit cramped

It's an early Morgan but I couldn't tell you much about it as it's not my area of expertise 🙂

Sure was a crackin' evening out. There were one or two obstacles eh but it all seemed very good natured and nobody seemed to mind 🙂

The locals are great people the owner of the house was only too happy to let us park there!!

Over a two hour ride to get there but well worth it buddy 🙂

It certainly is a gift buddy to be able to snap now, sort later and without the need for a camera the size of a BBC Outside Broadcast Unit or a battery like a breeze block eh, although I do recall the girl at the counter in Boots made the visit worth the walk 🙂

@DukeDyson got my mot on the tracer on Friday. Just back on the road after insurance wrote it off. Fingers crossed 🤞 I've done everything properly. Still got another whole week till I have to go back to work. I'm defo getting out there if I pass. Not riding since April 24th. I'm gonna love it if it passes bruv.

Not just one RE5 but two! It's unusual to see one, but a pair is indeed a rarity 🙂 The residents all seem on board with it but then it is only once a year and I think they do well financially out of it. Definitely one for the diary for next year 🙂

Ayup buddy, really good to hear from you. I don't manage to get to many of these so it's a bit of a treat to get to a nice chilled event where people seem to actually congregate rather than standing around glued to their phones 🙂 Whoever organises it has done a great job 🙂

​@@DukeDyson Sadly it seems that the concept of "The Bike Night" had become an ugly monster, now caught on for just about any commercial entity in the hospitality sector, Pubs, cafes, bars, air fields, you name it, just about anyone with a car park and a servery is clamoring for the biker pound, a trendy money maker coz everyone's doing it... Just about every night of the week now there is a "Bike Night" event where strangers gather and stand around with a luke warm £3.00 coffee and a grestle burger wondering what time to go home...Dont get me started.. i feel an FRO coing on..! Love ya buddy.. Stay safe aye. !
